Magical night!
Bertha and her staff at Ocean Weddings provided the perfect setting for our daughter/new son’s gorgeous wedding! It was everything we had dreamed of and then some! The DJ was top-notch and had everyone on the dance floor all night, the taquiza was delicious and plentiful, the wait staff was better than any other place I’ve ever experienced. Bertha provided instant communication through the planning process which is huge for a destination wedding. I highly recommend Ocean Weddings specifically if you want the beach vibe with beautiful ocean water and nice breeze but with no sand. Oh! And then there’s the other garden side with lush greenery which made for beautiful pictures too! We are extremely happy and grateful we were led to this place!

Planning a wedding is not an easy task from abroad , I took a leap of faith to have chosen ocean events and they did not disappoint. I didn’t see the venue until the big day and I couldn’t have been happier. I was also very lucky to have got Giovana to help me along the process, she went above and beyond with all my requests, very professional and did everything to make my day more special.

If you see this review, please choose Ocean Weddings as your wedding venue. My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue and more importantly, a better wedding planner. Giovanna, our wedding planner, who works for Ocean Weddings made it all so easy for us and she really loves what she does. She was so patient with my husband and I because we were so indecisive! We live in Seattle, WA and of course we were super anxious about having a destination wedding and putting so much trust into a person for the most important day of your life but Giovanna, the venue, and all the vendors the venue provided exceeded all my expectations. It was truly, and not to be corny, but the best day of my life!
Ocean weddings is even more beautiful in person and it is HUGE!! Our wedding was only 55 people but because of how they set it up it felt more intimate and the place did not look empty. But we could have fit over 200 people there. The venue is the perfect combination of beach side tropical wedding, but also very elegant. They have beautiful lights, chandeliers, a garden for the cocktail hour, gorgeous ocean backdrop for the ceremony, and extra space for in case it rains, and an airbnb attached to the venue that you can rent to get ready and to do your first look (highly recommend)!
If you are looking at other venues, let me save you some time because I spent so much time researching venues! This one is better than Blue Venado (a venue I was seriously considering) and Jardin del Mar because, one it is fancier and bigger (less boho) and also it’s less expensive. You get more bang for your buck because the quality is insane! Also just wanted to add the DJ they use was incredible! For me, the music was one of the most important parts of the wedding because our goal was to throw a BIG party, since we are big dancers. The DJ and his team gave me exactly what I wanted and the dance floor with the lights and all the effects they used were amazing.
Thank you Giovanna at Ocean Weddings for being with us each step of the way and for putting so much love into this wedding. It was truly magical and exactly what I wanted.

Ocean se ve muy lindo en redes sociales, en fotos… pero llegar ahí es darse cuenta que aún con cámaras de alta definición es imposible mostrar lo espectacular de esta locación. Es privado, el mar como vista y un increíble equipo de trabajo harán tu boda un sueño! Mariana fue mi wedding planner, superamos pandemias, procesos migratorios y más, me ayudó en todo. Lugar de ensueño Nuestra boda fue como un cuento de hadas, Ocean es un lugar mágico y hermoso. La vista al mar es espectacular y trasmite mucha paz y amor. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Boda espectacular Ely&Emilio Jenny, muchas gracias por toda la paciencia y por el profesionalismo que desde el principio hasta el final tuviste con nosotros. Desde que conocimos el salón nos enamoramos y ya instalado con todas las peticiones fue hermoso, más que hermoso. Todo tu equipo se portó super lindo, el DJ, meseros, la comida, uffff, fue deliciosa, la decoración color lila fue tan romántica Imaginé mi boda así ¿pero que creen? Superó nuestra expectativas. ¡Sí los recomiendo! Yo vivo fuera de México y tuve una boda multicultural, lo cual de entrada ya fue un reto. Jennifer Mancini de Ocean Weddings me ayudó a diseñar la boda e incorporando elementos de las dos culturas. Además se desvivió porque todo saliera perfecto. Resolvió todos los inconvenientes de último minuto (desde conseguirme medicamentos el día del evento, atender demandas de ultimo minuto de la mamá de la novia, hasta darles un aventó a unos despistados de mis invitados que perdieron su transporte) y se encargó de que el evento estuviera super bien organizado e impecable. Mis invitados mexicanos y extranjeros quedaron muy impresionados y complacidos. El cumplido que más escuche de mis invitados fue "Todo salió perfecto". El lugar es muy lindo y la casa muy cómoda. Perfect venue! I got married at Ocean Weddings and it was the perfect day! The venue is simply beautiful, the wait staff is amazing and the food is delicious! I live in NYC and had to plan everything from a distance, but Mariana was my wedding coordinator and she made the whole process easy. She was very attentive and extremely helpful, I cannot thank her enough for the beautiful wedding that she organized! Everything was better than I expected! Due to COVID19 I had to postpone the wedding and the venue was super accommodating. I would recommend the venue and Mariana to anyone planning a wedding at Cancún, they're the best!Leer menos

Amazing wedding in Cancun I’m so grateful with Bertha and all her team work, my wedding was amazing, A beautiful, unforgettable wedding! Absolutely perfect, the room with the beautiful view of the sea you can see Isla Mujeres and the hotel zone of Cancun. Best Day Ever! Through a year of planning between Iowa and Cancun, our wedding was everything I could have dreamt of. Bertha and her team did a great job planning, communicating, clarifying, and making sure the day went smooth and we weren't stressed at all. Stop looking elsewhere, this is your venue! Seriously when my husband and I reminisce about our wedding day, we are truly blessed to say it was our dream wedding. Ocean Weddings, specificcally Bertha and her team, went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. Our wedding was pushed back twice due to COVID and there were many moments where we should have been stressed but simply were not. Our minds were at ease knowing our wedding was in good hands. Although there was uncertainty that comes with planning a wedding during covid but also a DESTINATION wedding, Bertha and her team had a keen eye for detail and listened to every request we asked for. The FOOOOOOOOOOOD was incredible. Our guests loved it. The venue itself is beautiful and remote, much better than your average resort wedding. (those aren't as private as Oceans).
